A summary of this fifth edition

With an introduction by Alexander Kraft, CEO of Sotheby’s International Realty France-Monaco, this new issue reflects our network’s dynamic energy in terms of real estate, culture, gastronomy, fashion…

Faithful to the DNA of Sotheby’s, a prestigious auction house, our magazine opens the doors to the art market, with:

  • An article on amicable sales explained by Olivier Fau, Sotheby’s Head of Private Sales for Continental Europe.
  • An interview with the painter Daniel Castan (Sotheby’s Divonne-les-Bains).
  • A presentation of the Platini art gallery (Sotheby’s Annecy).

You will also find articles on fashion and cinema, including:

  • A portrait of the entrepreneur Sébastien Le Guillou (Sotheby’s Lyon).
  • The history of the AAllard house: three generations of men’s tailors, passed down from father to son (Sotheby’s Megève).
  • A portrait of the director Etienne Chatiliez (Sotheby’s Evian-Léman).

Not forgetting a thorough review of the prestigious real estate market, as well as a dedicated article on the para-hotelier scheme.

The Chamonix Sotheby’s International selection

To comfort themselves in the dead of winter, the Sotheby’s agencies in Chamonix and Argentière have chosen to highlight David Gaultier’s Comptoir du Vin sur Vin, a true “landmark for epicureans”.

You will also follow in the footsteps of Georges Moreira, "treasure hunter", who shares his passion for the search for crystals in the Mont Blanc massif.

In addition, you will find a selection of exclusive properties offered for sale in our agencies.

The magazine “Entre Rhône, lacs et montagnes” is available online, as well as in print in our Chamonix and Argentière branches or in shops in the valley. Do not hesitate to ask us!
