Singing, electro, jazz, shows for a younger audience, workshops… To end 2022 in style and start the new year, Chamonix Sotheby’s International Realty takes you to Maison des Artistes and Espace Michel Croz - EMC2.

Great end-of-year celebrations at Maison des Artistes

A place of artistic creation which all Chamonix locals know well, Maison des Artistes is planning many musical events at the end of the year as part of its “Christmas Program”. There’s something for all audiences, with concerts, workshops, and a special New Year’s Eve party.

Animations for all audiences

• Friday 23rd December 2022 at 6.30 pm: Conférence "Princesse, Mode d’Emploi" (“Princess Instructions” conference), with the Cie du 7è Tiroir, to know everything about modern "princessology". A free, funny and crazy show for all ages.
• Tuesday 27th December 2022 at 3 pm: Atelier Lau Lab Factory. A workshop to make original decorations for the end of year celebrations (from 6 years old).
• Wednesday 28th December 2022 at 8.30 pm: "Sipari Lirici", a classical music concert with classical singing, with works by Mozart, Verdi, Donaudy, Tosti and Giordano, performed by musicians from the Paganini Conservatory of Genoa in Italy.
• Friday 30th December 2022 at 9.30 pm: Jazz concert by saxophonist Guillaume Perret (free).

Children’s Animations

Wednesday 18th December 2022 10 am to 12 pm or 2 pm to 4 pm: Workshop to discover a recording studio (from 10 years old) including creating music.

Weekly activities

• Every evening, from 5 pm to 9 pm: DJ set with DJ French Kiss (free)
• Every Wednesday, starting at 9 pm: Latina evening (free)
• Every Thursday: Café des Langues (Languages café) with the Petite Université at 6 pm / Electro evening from 10 pm (free)

New Year’s Eve concerts

Saturday 31st December 2022, from 9.30 pm: musical New Year’s Eve at Maison des Artistes with concerts by Bérénice, Mister Pop and Will T.

An eclectic new start at the Espace Michel Croz – EMC2

The valley’s new concert hall is offering an eclectic programme. It is the ideal place to start 2023 in style, with renowned artists:

• Friday 6th January at 8 pm: “L’Archet de Cendrillon” (Cinderella’s bow), by the 23 musicians of the Orchestre des Pays de Savoie, conducted by Pieter-Jelle de Boer.
• Tuesday 10th January at 8.30 pm: Kerry James in concert. Major figure of French rap, the artist is presenting an acoustic version of “Le Poète Noir”, a collection of his most beautiful texts and unpublished work, which he has gathered to celebrate 30 years of work.
• Wednesday 25th January at 8.30 pm: “L’embarras du choix” ("Spoilt for choice"), a participative play where the audience decides Maxime’s storyline, the hero caught between reason and passion.
