Music: Chamonix to the rhythm of the Cosmo Jazz Festival

The Cosmo Jazz Festival is back in the valley from 23rd to 30th July 2022 with internationally renowned artists offering concerts in exceptional natural settings.

Cosmo Jazz Festival in Chamonix: a must-see cultural event

Created in 2010 by the famous musician and talent scout André Manoukian, adoptive Chamoniard, the Cosmo Jazz Festival literally brings jazz to the mountains.

One of the valley’s flagship cultural events is back for its twelfth edition from 23rd to 30th July 2022.

The concept brings together lovers of nature, the valley and music in different formats:
• Concerts at altitude scheduled during the day surrounded by nature in exceptional locations
• Concerts organised in the centre of Chamonix, in Parc Couttet and in the heart of the valley (Les Houches and Servoz)
• Impromptu pop ups put on by the festival’s musicians according to their inspiration
• Le Cosmo Jam’, improvised moments at the Maison des Artistes (Parc Couttet) from 10 pm.

Like our partner Alpine Ski Racing and many cultural and sporting actors in the valley, the organisers of Cosmo Jazz Festival are committed to an eco-responsible and socially responsible approach.
There are two objectives:
• To offer high quality concerts to a wide audience
• To preserve Chamonix-Mont-Blanc’s natural environment.

Practical information

Concerts at altitude are free, but be sure to inquire beforehand about the conditions of access (ski lifts...). For the concerts at Parc Couttet between 27th and 30th July, it is possible to buy tickets from the ticket office (free for those under 16).

The programme is likely to evolve according to the weather: concerts planned outdoors may be cancelled in case of bad weather or ski lifts breaking down. The Festival's Facebook page allows you to see any last minute changes.
